"I never dreamed about success–I worked for it" - Estee Lauder

Can I really do this?

You're interested in the business opportunity with dōTERRA, but you have doubts that you can find your three to start with. This page offers tips and strategies to help you find your three – enhancing your confidence that you can, in fact, find success in this business.

Make the system work for you

Use the tools to save time and increase your effectiveness

Invite prospects to watch the biz video

You don't recreate the videos. Simply use the invitation scripts on this page and send your people to partner.allymona.com to see if this is the opportunity for them.

Schedule a follow up call

They watch the video. You get on a call. On the call, answer their questions, and if you can't, write them down and bring them to your mentor to get answered.

Guide to appropriate next steps

We are looking for ready, willing and able partners. If they say, 'No," ask for referrals. If they're a maybe, send them to this page. If it's a "Yes," schedule an on-boarding call.

Mastering the skill of inviting

How can I find my three?

First, make a list of your contacts who you would want to partner with. Think of responsible, entrepreneurial people, those with influence, people looking for an income stream, etc. Then, you choose an appropriate approach for each person. There's details and scripts for each of these approaches on this page.

  • Direct - ask them to look directly at the business opportunity to see if it's for them

  • Indirect - ask their opinion on the business opportunity to help you out

  • Super Indirect - ask them for referrals for your business

  • 1. Direct Approach

This method works before for people who know, like and trust you. And it sounds something like this:

"Hey! I hope you're doing well. I have something important to share with you. I started a new business, I'm looking for committed partners and I thought to share it with you because... (put in a genuine compliment here... why do you want to partner with them?).

If I sent you a 21-minute video that explains it ALL, would you watch it?"

Wait for them to respond. If they say yes, then ask:

"Great! When do you think you can watch it by?"

Once they give you a time, set up a time to call them the next day.

"OK, so if I called you (the next day), you'll have watched it for sure, yeah?"

(While this may seem redundant, it increases the chance that they'll watch the video by 80%!)

Set a time to call them the next day and confirm the time.

Send them the partner.allymona.com link only after you've confirmed a time to call.

When you call them, answer their questions. If you can't answer any questions, that's OK, you're new. Write down any questions you can't answer and bring them to your upline for help. "That's a great question. I'm going to write it down and ask my mentor for help. I'll get back to you."

Watch the short video to get a feel for how this invitation sounds.

    2. Indirect Approach

The Indirect Approach is another powerful tool to helping people get past their initial resistance and understand your opportunity. This approach is best used when you’re just getting started and it’s simply asking people for help or guidance.

The indirect approach sounds something like this:

Start with a genuine compliment: "I've always respected you as a business person, or you're one of the most committed and passionate people I know.

I’m thinking about getting started with a business I can run from my home. Would you help me check it out and see if it’s for real?

    Then make the invitation:

"If I sent you a 21-minute video that explains it ALL, would you watch it?"

    Follow through:

Book a time for a follow up call just like the direct approach and then send the partner.allymona.com link for them to explore.

    3. Super Indirect Approach

This is a networking approach that asks the prospect if they know someone else that might benefit from your business.

You may be surprised when they decide that they want to partner with you themselves!

"The business I’m in clearly isn’t for you, but I wanted to ask, who do you know that is ambitious, hard-working and would be excited about the idea of adding more cash flow to their lives?”

''Do you know anyone involved in a serious job search?"

    or

"Who do you know that might be looking for a strong business they could run from their home?"

"I work with a company that’s expanding in your area and I’m looking for some sharp people that might be interested in some additional cash flow. Do you know anyone who might fit that description?''

They'll likely ask for more information before giving you referrals, and that's where you continue the conversation with the 21-minute video.

"It makes sense that you want to know a bit more before giving some referrals.

I actually have a 21-minute video that explains it all. If I sent you the video, would you watch it?"

Follow through and get a time on the calendar for a follow up call before sending them the video.

    So, can you do this?

We believe you can. The person who invited you to partner with them believes you can. You have every resource available to you and we want you to succeed. Ask yourself a couple of questions to identify if you're ready:

  • Can you ask people to watch a video and book a follow up call?

  • Can you answer their questions and write down any questions you can't answer to bring to your mentor for help?

  • Can you use these resources and teach this same method to your three partners?

  • If you answered "Yes" to these three questions, then you're ready. Jump in. Schedule an on-boarding call with your mentor. Stake your claim to success in this business and get to work!
